AGRO TOURISM
Slow days on
Nepal’s hill farms.
Not every day in Nepal has to be a walking day. Stay with farming families, join in with the season’s work, and eat what was grown outside the door. On its own, or as a few quieter days before or after a trek.
Stay with a family
You sleep in a village home and share meals with the family who farm the land around it. Simple rooms, home cooking, and time to talk.
Join in with the season
What there is to do depends on when you come: planting or harvesting rice, picking tea, tending vegetables, or helping with the animals. I’ll tell you what to expect for your dates.
At your own pace
Join in as much or as little as you like. Short walks between villages and terraces fill the rest of the day, without the altitude of a trek.
On its own or with a trek
A few farm days work well as a gentle start before a trek, a rest at the end of one, or as a trip of their own if you’d rather not trek at all.
What we agree before you book
Where you’ll stay, how many days, what the work involves in your season, transfers, meals, and what’s included and what isn’t.
